Sitting at a table, sipping coffee humming a song of the past.
The tavern “Al Tagliere di Nese”, opened in the historic village in Via Marconi 69, it has unique charm with wood interiors and the old style inn. It’s not just a restaurant, it is a project that fuses generations and promotes the cooperation between local associations and residents. The inn is located in a renovated tenement which includes, internal courtyard, under a centennial wisteria, is the space for leisure and passions of the past. Stone tables designed with the chessboard and a pavement field for the game of bowls, one of the few survivors in the province.
The inn offers a cuisine that combines traditional dishes from Bergamo and original recipes, using fresh and quality products.
The menu offers copious “taglieri” (wooden cutting boards) of cured-meat, cheeses and vegetables, pasta dishes casoncelli homemade, risotto and fresh pasta followed by excellent selected meats, cheeses from valleys and at the end finger-licking desserts. All is accompanied by fine wines.
The walls of the restaurant welcome the works of local artists and on Tuesday night it becomes the stage for live concerts where national and international musicians, with different backgrounds, perform to make you travel far to the tune of a blues guitar or a country voice.
