No-kill fly fishing zone:
In the following areas fishing is allowed only using mice tails with artificial fly on a single hook without claw.
– Serio river: in the portion of the river between Casnigo and the final part of the hydro-electric canal Pratomele up-rover of the bridge of the Somet factory and the barrage of the same canal in Mele.

In the following areas fishing is allowed only using a single hook without claw, armed with natural or artificial baits. also the metallic baits with a single hook without claw.
– Serio river: in the portion of the river in Ponte Nossa between the beginning of the Val del Riso downstream and the barrage of the S.T.E.R. factory in Ponte Selva upstream.
– Serio river: in the portion of the river in Albino, Cene and between the area Isola Zio Bruno downstream and the overflow of the canal of the Consorzio di Bonifica.

Fish habitat protection areas:
In the following areas fishing is allowed only using a single hook without claw, armed with natural or artificial baits. also the metallic baits with a single hook without claw.
– Fiumenero torrent: from the discharge of the hydro-electric power station to the outlet of the Serio river in Valbondione, in the area of Fiumenero.
– Rino torrent of Ardesio: from the outlet of the Serio river to the waterworks in Ardesio.
– Vertova torrent: the final portion upstream of the watersmeet of the Serio river in Vertova.
– Ramello resurgence: from the spring to the outlet of the Serio river in Ponte Nossa.
– Nossana torrent: from the spring to the outlet of the Serio river in Ponte Nossa.
– Albina torrent: from the “Delle Schisade” bridge to the mouth of the Serio river in Albino.
– Carso torrent: from the area “Cappelletta Calce Cugini” to the outlet of the torrent in the Serio river in Nembro.
– Dezzo torrent: from the check dam (area of the sporting facility) to the connection bridge in the halet of Serta, in the Forno area in Schilpario.

Alpine lakes:
In ValSeriana and Val di Scalve we can fish also in the alpine lakes. The most important are Valgoglio lakes, Barbellino lake (natural and artificial), Valbona and Gleno lakes. All these lakes are located under the altitude of 1500 m, so it is possible to fish following the rules of the water of type B. In all the lake above the altitude of 1500 m fishing is allowed from 6.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. from 1st May 2016 to 2nd October 2016. In the alpine lake the main species are Arctic char and the lake trout.

Private fishing center:
In the private fishing center fishing can be practised departing from the rules concerning the prohibition period, the minimun rules and the amount of the catch, the time and means of fishing. THE RIVER
The Serio river is the main flow of water where it is possible to fish. Along Valseriana the river receives the water of some affluents like the torrents Bondone, Fiume Nero, Sedornia, Goglio, Acqualina, Rino, Ogna, Nossana, Riso, Romna, Vertova, Asnina, Rovaro, Doppia, Albina, Lujo, Vallogna, Carso, Nesa e Gardellone and then it continues in the flat land of Bergamo and Cremona. In Val di Scalve the Dezzo river is the best torrent where we can fish. The river passes through Schilpario, Azzone and Angolo Terme. The main affluent is Gleno which flows near Vilminore di Scalve.

WHERE WE CAN FISH:
In the water of type “B” fishing is allowed only from the end of February to the beginning of October. Fishing is allowed along the entire flow of the river, except in the no-kill areas and in the protection areas where fishing is forbidden.
