The morphology of rock climbing mainly athletics allows great resistance of holes.

Access:

from Bergamo follow the road that leads to Seriana valley up to Clusone and from here drive up to Onore following the signs for Presolana Pass. When you get close to the center of the town you will easily see the crag on your left and also the Sports Center where you can park your car. From here the track leads in a few minutes to the lower sector of the Onore crag called “dei Corni”.

Follow the footpath no. 228 that leads to lago Nero and after reaching a hut turn left (path no. 268) and follow the pipe that leads to lago Nero Hut and to the nearby Crag. The climbing consists on different sectors: Barbecue – Bandiera – Sorgente – Cascata

Lantana offers great opportunity for beginners, thanks to numerous pitches with not too great difficulty.

Access:
Follow the main road that leads to Presolana Pass up to Clusone and continue up to Bratto. When you get to the traffic light in the urban center continue straight ahead , then follow signs for Monte Pora (turning right). Drive for a kilometer and park on the left side in front of some houses . Continue by walk (following signs) first on a road and then on easy path that leads in ten minutes to the main cliff (Sector B).

Roby’s goal was to create a comfortable and safe climbing site in order to incline kids towards this exciting sport. This “falesia” consists on about 50 itineraries of any difficulty level.

Access:

Follow Seriana Valley main road  that leads to Presolana Pass and keep driving up to Colere. After reaching the city center turn onto Via Larga and park your car. By following the signs for the crag, you will be able to reach it in a few minutes.

It is situated in a urban zone, near the historical center of Clusone, it presents funny paths which unknot on lean and vertical plates, it has been outfitted by CaI Clusone. After getting to Clusone follow the signs for Villa D’Ogna, after the populated center, turn right and follow the signs for “Palestra Tiger” then park next to the crag .
Access:
Once in Clusone follow the signs for Villa d ‘ Ogna, just after the town turn right into the ‘ only road that you meet (signposted Gym Tiger ) and parking at the foot of the cliff.

Follow the main road that leads to Presolana Pass up to Clusone and continue up to Bratto. When you get to the traffic light in the urban center continue straight ahead , then turn left onto “via Cadorna” that finds itself next to Hotel Milano. Now follow “Via Toti” up to “Via Coste” where you will find a parking lot. Park your car, go behind  and then turn right onto a small street that leads to the beginning of a path. Follow the path that crosses the wood and then turn left when it levels out. Continue for a few meters and then turn right onto a path which climbs up through the wood towards the crag. Green phosphorescent circles will guide you to the first crag which is named Corna Margina: it is a small limestone gem characterized by about twenty enjoyable climbs. It takes five minutes to reach “Corna Rossa”. The whole walk takes 20 minutes.

The first explorative climb dates back to 1910. In 2000  a huge rebolting project was finally completed.

Access:

From Bergamo follow the main road that leads to Seriana Valley up to Nembro, follow the signs for Selvino and reach Aviatico. Park your car in the parking lot next to the old council building. Follow  the path which starts on the right side of the building (CAI no. 537). Along this itinerary you will find some signs that will easily guide you  to the many sectors of  Cornagera.

Access

Follow Seriana Valley main road up to Ponte Nossa, enter the village and proceed up to the bridge where you will find the old Hammer Museum. You will find a small parking lot where to leave your car. Enter the old mule track on the opposite side of the road , after a few minutes you will get to a fountain and afterwards to the Crag. After a short walk you will arrive to a fountain: from here the crag is clearly visible.

Alben (Oltre il Colle) https://www.valseriana.eu/en/sport-e-divertimento/alben/ Fri, 08 Apr 2016 12:15:06 +0000 http://www2.valseriana.eu/en/sport-e-divertimento/alben/ The amazing limestone Brassamonti tower represents an ideal destination if you want to avoid feeling too hot on summer days and it also offers a fantastic view over the area surrounding Oltre il Colle.  The limestone of this monolithic tower is characterized by a particular coloration deriving from the blending of many contrasting colours such as dark grey and yellow.

Access:

Zambla Pass can be reached from Bergamo either through Brembana Valley (Zogno,Seina, Oltre il Colle) or through Seriana Valley ( Nembro, Gazzaniga, Gorno and Riso Valley). After reaching the pass follow the track that leads to Crocetta for about one kilometer, then park your car and follow the CAI footpath no. 501 up to Nembrini Bivouac, which finds itself at the base of Brassamonti Tower.

Here you can climb all year round since the majority of  the crag is constantly exposed to the sun.

Access:

From Bergamo follow the main road that leads to Seriana Valley up to Gazzaniga: from now on, follow the signs for Gandino. Right after entering the town center turn right and then left, leaving the town and following the tarred road which leads to Valpiana and Malgalunga. After a couple of kilometers, park right in front of a cement bridge that crosses a river. From here the crags are clearly visible. Follow the signs for “Falesia Fontanèi”: after a short walk you will reach the first sector. On your left you will be able to see “Corno Argentino” and “Scaletta” while on your right you will be able to observe “Settore Classico” . All the sectors are very close to each other.

There  are walls with pockets, overhangs and pipes requiring continuity, extreme slabs with finger pockets: all of this is set in a fantastic setting.

Access:
From Bergamo go through the main road and follow the signs for Seriana Valley ; after getting to Ponte Selva Junction continue straight on for Valbondione. Before getting toArdesio turn right following the signs for Villa D’Ogna and then for Nasolino. Keep on driving through the road that goes up to Valzurio for a couple of kilometers until you get to “Via Dosso”  street, that you will see on your left and which leads to the hamlet of Dosso. The crag is clearly visible. Park next to a small church and after a few meters, at the beginning of the hamlet climb the rock stairs that you will see on your right that later become a path and lead to a farmhouse clearly visible above. Pass between the houses and go up slightly to the right between a meadow and a wood until you will come across a tail which leads to the base of the crag. The whole walk only takes 20 minutes.

The left sector is characterized by a beautiful vertical grey slab, while the right one consists on a nice overhanging wall with small pockets and crimps.

Access:
From Bergamo follow the main road that lead the Seriana Valley, pass through Clusone and then continue up to Presolana Pass. Right beyond the pass you will see a small parking lot on your right, park your car and enter the path that crosses the built-up area: it will lead you to the crag.

Strenght and technique are always required even for low and middle difficulty climbs.

Access:

From Bergamo follow the main road that leads to Seriana valley up to Albino,  turn left and follow the signs for Bondo Petello and the cable car. After getting to the parking lot next to the cable car proceed straight ahead and turn onto  “via Valgua” street. Keep driving for about a hundred meters up to two large parking lots next to a small lake: from now on the signs for the crag are clearly visible. Follow the path that leads uphill. As you get to a beautiful valley characterized by green natural pools and suggestive glades, you will notice some wooden signposts that will indicate  the various sectors. After a ten-minute walk you will get to the first one: Minolandia, a nice slab with easy and middle grade climbs. Keep walking and after a twenty-minute walk you will reach Scoglio, a cool and shady slab that is perfect for the hot season.

Valle dei Mulini (Castione della Presolana) https://www.valseriana.eu/en/sport-e-divertimento/valle-dei-mulini/ Fri, 08 Apr 2016 12:35:11 +0000 http://www2.valseriana.eu/en/sport-e-divertimento/valle-dei-mulini/ This is the best and the most significant crag in Seriana Valley  and one of the most important ones in the area surrounding Bergamo.  It is a characteristic and quiet valley near Castionecharacterized by four cliffs (GiambiRossaSan PederChignol) with a large number of different routes.
Access:
Drive through the main road along Seriana Valley up to Clusone and then follow the signs for Castione della Presolana. Pass through the town center and turn left  right after the Town hall, then follow the signs for Rusio. Continue for a few hundred meters up to a parking lot, park your car and continue for a few meters along the tarred road and then follow the track which starts just before the bridge. Follow the track and when you get to the first junction turn right into the valley. All the trails that lead to the sectors are marked with green circles. After a few meters cross the stream and continue up to a bridge and after crossing it you will come across a path on your left which leads to the Giambi sector, that you will reach in 5 minutes. Follow the wide path, cross over the stream and you will be able to see Parete Rossa, that can be reached in a few minutes by crossing back over the stream and following the path in the wood. Keep following  the main path and you will reach a small cement bridge. The Corno di San Peder sector is clearly visible on your left while on your right you can see the Chignool sector. Both of them can be reached in a few minutes. The whole walk takes 25 minutes from the car to the furthest sector.

FALESIA DI GIAMBI

In the Giambi sector you can find medium and easy climbs on excellent rocks that are sculpted with pockets, cracks and some pipes. The sectors are particularly steep and rich with overhangs.
