Ristorante “Sorriso” (Selvino)
Since 1969 the family Cortinovis manages Restaurant Sorriso and immediately began a search oriented towards the quality of the ingredients that go to prepare dishes near the Lombardy tradition, but also others recipes. The chef mixes different elements in a creative key, such as noodle chocolate with raisins, pine nuts and bacon or the sirloin of lamb with chestnuts and cranberries.
In 2013 has been renovated, creating a cozy room in the cellar downstairs, suitable for romantic dinners or for those who want a little privacy.
Not far from the restaurant there is the access to the path that leads to the Sanctuary of Perello in the municipality of Algua, one of the oldest in Bergamo. With a pleasant walk you arrive at this place in the woods, with frescoes of the sixteenth centuries and testimonies of the apparition of Our Lady took place in 1413.
